Ivy Mak - Actor / Writer / Producer
A graduate of Ensemble Acting Studios and Macquarie University, Sydney, Ivy has worked as an actor for the past fifteen years. After further studies at AFTRS and NSW Writers' Centre, Ivy
continued to develop her writing and producing career. She was selected as SPA's Ones-to-Watch Producer in 2015 and worked at Essential Media and Entertainment as Producer's Assistant and Drama Development Coordinator. She is currently a producer on LUCKY LEE, a mystery comedy in development at Easy Tiger and a development producer on several comedy projects from Ampel/A-List Entertainment. She also has several film, TV and web projects in early development.

2012). Television credits include THE GLOAMING, PULSE, JACK IRISH, THE PRINCIPAL,
JANET KING, COPS L.A.C., ALL SAINTS, WHITE COLLAR BLUE, A MODEL DAUGHTER: THE KILLING OF CAROLINE BYRNE and children’s
television shows MY PLACE 2 and MAGICAL TALES. Ivy also worked on
award-winning webseries HIGH LIFE and ULTIMATE FANJ.
In theatre, Ivy acted in MCREELE and QED for Ensemble Theatre, the national tour of
MONKEY…JOURNEY TO THE WEST for Theatre of Image and the "24-hour Play
Generator" for Griffin Theatre. She wrote and acted in the AWGIE
nominated play THE QUIET BROTHER staged at Downstairs Belvoir. She has
also participated in improvised shows at The Roxbury Hotel and El Rocco
Bar. Most recently, she worked on Sydney Theatre Company’s Patrick White
Award Presentation of new play MIRROR’S EDGE. She has also worked as an
actor in developing works presented at Playwriting Australia, Griffin
Theatre and Riverside Theatre.
